MOUNT STREET BERKELEY SQUARE LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, slender W. Baker patent assisted-opening action, patent no. 16778 of 22nd March 1913, with Baker patent ejectors, slender fences, removable striker discs, toplever gold-inlaid '1', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, cocking-indicators, non-selective single trigger, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, the lockplates gold-inlaid 'TWELVE - TWENTY', the underside with a scrolling banner gold-inlaid 'CHARLES LANCASTER LONDON', bright finish, 15 5/8in. highly-figured stock including 1 5/8in. wooden extension, the fore-end iron with decorative scroll engraving surrounding the serial number, the finial gold-inlaid '1', weight 6lb., in a leather case
